Jennifer Hudson & David: Smashin' Good Time In NYC Aug 25th 2012, 01:00 Jennifer Hudson took her 3-year-old son David Otunga, Jr. to work with her in Washington Heights, New York City on Monday (August 20). Jennifer was there to film scenes for NBC’s Smash. David was color-coordinated in blue shorts, a blue and red striped top and blue Cookie Monster shoes. The singer/actress – who plays Broadway singer Veronica Moore -  slipped on a robe to show him around the set before getting into her character’s wardrobe. Add fashion designer to her resume. Jennifer will be launching her debut clothing line on QVC on September 6. The Jennifer Hudson Collection will feature contemporary apparel and accessories for women.
