Jay-Z: "My Family's Amazing" Sep 7th 2012, 04:46 Like most new dads, music mogul has some pretty big dreams for his baby girl Blue. The 42-year-old rapper, who was spotted sharing some happy family time in the South of France with Blue Ivy and his wife Beyonce today, shares his hopes for his daughter in a new interview with the New York Times. "Oh, my family's amazing,” Jay-Z says when asked about Bey and baby Blue. He knows that his daughter’s privileged childhood will be a lot different than his own – “We would fight each other. My brother would beat me up,” Jay-Z recalls. “I was going to have to fight, I was going to have to go through some things, and they were preparing me.” – but says he and Beyonce will make sure she grows up with strong values. “She doesn't have to be tough,” the doting dad muses. “She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful, and be a moral person.” View Slideshow »» View All Photos »»
