Nick Nolte Rides Bumper Cars With Daughter Sep 7th 2012, 16:21 Cape Fear star Nick Nolte, 71, and daughter Sophie, nearly 5, enjoying the day at the Chili Cook Off, Carnival and Fair in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday (September 2). While Sophie held onto her plush Hello Kitty toy, she laughed and cheered as her famous father took charge of the steering wheel to their bumper car. By day’s end, the Academy Award-nominated actor left with a large teddy bear holding a heart that read, “I Love You.” Sophie's mother is Nick's longtime partner, Clytie Lane. Nick is also dad to 26-year-old son Brawley with ex-wife, Rebecca Linger.
