Alanis Morissette & Family Touchdown In Brazil Sep 7th 2012, 17:06 Seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer Alanis Morissette arrived at Santos-Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway and their son Ever, 20 months, on Thursday (September 6). The You Oughta Know singer is keeping her family close as she kicks off her Brazilian tour. The self-proclaimed "attached parent", 38, recently opened up about her struggles with postpartum depression. "I didn't feel the need the share. It just was part of the autobiographical transparency value that I have," the singer explained about why she decided to open up about her experience with PPD. She added: "I really think transparency really levels the playing field for all of us and renders us all human. It was just a really intense time, and if I could share anything with anyone who's going through it, it would be to encourage them to seek help and reach out a little earlier than I did."
