Brandon Routh On Newborn Son Leo: "He Keeps Growing A Lot" Sep 9th 2012, 15:48 Partners actor Brandon Routh, 32, is experiencing some the changes first time fatherhood brings – namely lack of sleep and those seemingly endless daily diaper changes. Since welcoming his first born son Leo James with wife Courtney Ford, 34, on August 10th, the proud new papa jokes that he is definitely deprived in the Z’s department. “Maybe for this hour and a half I can put on a brave face and then go home and take a nap,” he laughs while talking to Us Weekly during the CBS’ PaleyFest event in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday (September 6). “All I think of is dreams of diaper changes.” Although caring for a newborn can be tiring, the couple are trying to cherish every moment with their sweet son. “Everybody keeps telling me, ‘Remember this moment because it goes by so fast,’” the actor comments. “‘You’ll be wishing they were that small again.’” As far as little Leo’s name goes, Brandon says that, “We’d been looking at names even when we were thinking about having kids. I liked it a lot and it just kept rising to the top of our list.” “James is my middle name,” he continues. “Leo’s not crazy, it’s not out there — not a lot of Leos.” “He keeps growing a lot, eating a lot,” the actor adds. “A lot of diaper changes!”
